Die Genossenschaft verfolgt den Zweck, in gemeinsamer Selbsthilfe und Mitverantwortung ihren Mitgliedern gesunden und preisgünstigen Wohnraum zu verschaffen und zu erhalten. Sie vermietet ihre Wohnungen gemäss den nachfolgenden Prioritäten: a) in erster Linie an aktive Mitarbeiter/innen der allgemeinen Bundesverwaltung, der SBB, der Post, der Swisscom, des Militärs; b) dann an aktive Mitarbeiter/innen von Organisationen, die der Pensionskasse PUBLICA angeschlossen sind; c) dann an pensionierte Mitarbeiter/innen gemäss Buchstabe a und b; d) in letzter Linie an die übrigen Bewerber/innen. Sie sucht diesen Zweck zu erreichen durch a) Sorgfältigen und laufenden Unterhalt und periodische Erneuerung der bestehenden Bauten. b) Beanspruchung von Förderungsinstrumenten nach dem eidgenössischen Wohnbauförderungsgesetz bzw. entsprechenden kantonalen und kommunalen Gesetzen. c) Verwaltung und Vermietung der Wohnungen auf der Basis der Kostenmiete. d) Förderung von genossenschaftlichen Aktivitäten in den Siedlungen. e) Ideelle und materielle Unterstützung von Bestrebungen, die preiswertes, gesundes und gutes Wohnen zum Ziel haben. Die Tätigkeit der Genossenschaft ist gemeinnützig und nicht gewinnstrebig.
