Die Stiftung bezweckt den Menschen im Umfeld der Welcome Gruppe (Gaho AG mit Sitz in Kloten und deren Tochtergesellschaften) sowie anderen hilfsbedürftigen Personen in schwierigen Lebenssituationen resp. finanziellen Notlagen eine Überbrückungshilfe zu bieten. Zudem können auch andere gemeinnützige Institutionen, die gemäss dem Steuerrecht des Kantons Zürich von der Steuer befreit sind, mit einer Unterstützung bedacht werden. Als Destinatäre im Sinne des Stiftungszwecks kommen somit primär die Mitarbeitenden der Gaho Gruppe und ihre Familienangehörigen (alle Verwandtschaftsgrade) in Frage. Unterstützung kann aber auch anderen Personen in Notlagen und anderen gemeinnützigen Institutionen zugesprochen werden, wenn diese mit einem persönlichen Antrag an die Stiftung gelangen respektive der Stiftungsrat eine entsprechende Spende als Zweckgeeignet ansieht. Die Unterstützung geschieht in Form von direkter finanzieller Unterstützung, Hilfe zur Weiterbildung/Ausbildung, Hilfe zur Arbeitsbeschaffung.
