Die Bekämpfung der Gewalt an Frauen und Mädchen ist somit auch die oberste inhaltliche Priorität des Vereins V-Day Zürich. Der Vereinszweck schreibt somit vor, dass alle Einnahmen, welche durch die Theaterproduktion generiert werden, abzüglich den Auslagen für die Produktion, an eine lokale Organisation gespendet wird, die dem Vereinszweck entspricht. So ist erforderlich, dass alle Mitwirkenden auf eine Vergütung ihrer Leistung verzichten und ehrenamtlich tätig sind.
