Im Weiteren bezweckt sie, die Erträgnisse aus dem Betrieb des Gasthauses und Zuwendungen von dritter Seite zur Förderung des musikalischen Lebens in der Schweiz einzusetzen. Zu diesem Zweck ist grundsätzlich alle fünf Jahre ein 'Alberik-Zwyssig-Preis' zu vergeben.
