Jahrhunderts in seiner Gesamtheit und Ursprünglichkeit, dazu gehören das einzige, funktionstüchtig erhaltene Wasserrad (Durchmesser 7m) im Appenzellerland, das alte verbriefte Wasserrecht am Eichenbach, die Einrichtungen für die Zuleitung des Wassers zum Haus (Wasserfassung, Zisterne, Weichenhäuschen mit Wasserweiche, Kännel für die Zuleitung zum Wasserrad im Gebäude), das Fabrikgebäude samt dazugehörigem Gelände, die zwei Quellen mit zugehörigen Quellrechten, Dokumentationen, Fotos und Aussagen von Zeitzeugen, wobei die Anlege der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich sein soll sowie Ermöglichung und Unterstützung von Kursen, Seminaren sowie Forschung und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit in den drei Themenkreisen Geschichte (Geschichte der Industrialisierung im Appenzellerland - die Geschichte des Zwirneli und seines Umfelds), Umwelt (Lebensraum als ein System geschlossener Stoffkreisläufe, ökologische Nachhaltigkeit) und Bewusstsein (Bewusstseinsschulung durch Konzentration in der Stille, die Praxis von Achtsamkeit und Mitgefühl mit allem Lebendigen). Die Stiftung kann sich an der Förderung ähnlich gelagerter Projekte und Institutionen beteiligen.
