Die Zwecke werden durch Aufklärung über die Hilal-Konzepte von Raqs Sharqi, deren Unterrichtung und der stetigen Verbesserung des Unterrichts- und Darbietungsstandards sowie der finanziellen und organisatorischen Unterstützung von Bühnenproduktionen verfolgt. Insbesondere können Künstler in geeigneter Weise unterstützt werden. Die Stiftung setzt sich des weiteren für den Schutz von Raqs Sharqi durch Erhaltung von Noten-, Photo-, Film-, Video- und Audiomaterial ein.
