Die Stiftung ist ein Gemeinschaftswerk der ESTA und dient im Bereiche der klassischen Musik zur Förderung begabter Streicher. Sie hat gemeinnützigen Charakter und verfolgt weder Erwerbs- noch Gewinnzwecke. Sie steht ausschliesslich im Dienste der Ziele und Aufgaben der ESTA. Die Finanzierung der beruflichen Aus- und Weiterbildung von jungen, begabten Musikern sowie die Ausleihung von Streichinstrumenten und zwar auf Antrag einzelner oder mehrer Vereinsmitglieder der ESTA.
