La promotion et le développement de la médiation dans les Forces armées en conformité avec les droits de l'Homme portés par les institutions internationales telles que l'ONU et la CROIX-ROUGE. L'autre but de l'Association est le soutien apporté aux membres des Forces armées, militaires et civils, à leur entourage professionnel et personnel, ainsi qu'à toute personne impactée de près ou de loin par un état de stress post traumatique (ESPT/PTSD). Les activités de l'Association incluent: l'étude des modes de résolution des conflits interpersonnels dans les Forces armées, et tout sujet en lien avec la santé et les droits humains des militaires et de leurs familles; l'élaboration d'un guide de bonnes pratiques conforme aux principes fondamentaux de la médiation et adaptées aux spécificités des Forces armées; l'élaboration de programmes de formation à la médiation destinés aux Forces armées; l'organisation de conférences, réunions, ateliers. Le soutien apporté par le CIMFA aux personnes mentionnées dans le présent Article se concrétise par tout moyen; technologique, académique, artistique, scientifique, etc.
