Der Verein bietet die Mütter- und Väterberatung an. Er gewährleistet die Beratung von Eltern und stellvertretenden Erziehern in Fragen der Pflege, Ernährung, Entwicklung sowie Erziehung von Säuglingen und von Kleinkindern und unterstützt gesundheitsförderndes Verhalten mittels Hausbesuchen, Beratungen und Kursen. Er übernimmt gemäss Leistungsvertrag mit dem zuständigen Gemeindeverband des Bezirks die Organisation und die Erfüllung aller Aufgaben entsprechend den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen. Der Verein kann weitere nicht gesetzlich vorgeschriebene Dienste im ganzen Bezirk oder in einzelnen Gemeinden anbieten.
