Der Verein erreicht seinen Zweck insbesondere durch: a) Einen organisatorischen Zusammenschluss von Gewerbe, Lehrwerkstätten und Fachschulen mit Schwerpunkt Damenbekleidung; b) Vertreten der gemeinsamen Ziele, insbesondere der Grundbildung, gegenüber der IBBG, der Öffentlichkeit, den Behörden und anderen Wirtschaftsgruppen; c) Förderung der beruflichen Grund- und Weiterbildung; d) Durchführendes Organ von Qualifikationsverfahren auf den Stufen EBA, EFZ und Weiterbildungen; e) Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Verbänden und Organisationen; f) Zusammenarbeit, Austausch und Förderung des Netzwerkes mit den weiteren Schwerpunkten Bekleidungsgestalter/in Herrenbekleidung, Pelzbekleidung, Kopfbedeckung, Berufs- und Schutzbekleidung.
