Der Zweck wird erreicht durch folgende Leistungen: a) Der Verein agiert als Leadinghouse im Rahmen des Förderprogramms Innosuisse der Schweizerischen Agentur für Innovationsförderung "NTN Innovation Booster" (sogenannt: Innobooster); b) Der Verein agiert als Plattform für alle Vereine, Organisationen, Unternehmen und Institutionen die im Agrar- und Lebensmittelbereich tätig sind. Die Schwerpunkte liegen dabei auf Forschung, Innovation, Geschäftsentwicklung, Vernetzung und Wissenstransfer; c) Der Verein bietet den Vereinsmitgliedern Zugang zur Unterstützung in technologischen, technischen, marketingmässigen und unternehmerischen Fragen und betreut die Vereinsmitglieder dabei aktiv; d) Der Verein pflegt enge Kontakte zu allen Stakeholdern der Agrar- und Lebensmittelbranche, insbesondere zu den Netzwerken, Clustern, Branchenverbänden, Organisationen, Forschungseinrichtungen und Unternehmen; e) Der Verein pflegt enge Kontakte zu internationalen Forschungsprogrammen und Innovationsförderungsorganisationen; f) Der Verein unterstützt den aktiven Austausch der Vereinsmitglieder untereinander und regt die intensive Vernetzung an. Als Leadinghouse gilt eine nicht gewinnorientierte Organisation, welche gegenüber der Innosuisse als Gesuchsteller auftritt und die Verantwortung für die Abwicklung der Initiative "NTN Innobooster" übernimmt.
