Die Stipendien sind Schweizer Bürgern oder Schweizer Bürgerinnen zu gewähren, die an der Hochschule der Künste Bern studieren wollen oder die sich dort bereits ausbilden lassen, um den Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy, den Master of Arts in Music Performance oder den Master of Arts in specialized Music Performance, mit Kernfach Klavier oder Violine zu absolvieren; nicht über genügend eigene Mittel verfügen; besonders begabt und strebsam und nach Charakter und Gesinnung einer Zuwendung würdig sind. Bei der Gewährung der Stipendien ist darauf zu achten, dass eine Zersplitterung der Mittel vermieden wird. Sind mehrere, im obigen Sinne geeigneten Bewerber vorhanden, so haben solothurnische KantonsbürgerInnen den Vorrang. Die Stiftung wurde mit Verfügung der Aufsichtsbehörde vom 04.08.2009 von der Pflicht befreit, eine Revisionsstelle zu bezeichnen.
