Zweck der Stiftung ist insbesondere a) Wahrung, Förderung und Verbreitung der von David Boadella begründeten Biosynthese in Therapie, Forschung, Wissenschaft und Publikationen sowie die konzeptionelle Erhaltung, Förderung und Verbreitung der Zeitschriften 'Energie & Charakter' und 'Energy & Character'; b) Kontrolle der Gewährleistung und des Qualitätsmanagements der Garantiemarke (Qualitätsmarke) 'Biosynthese' / 'Biosynthesis'; c) Förderung von Wissenschaft und Forschung in allen Bereichen der Biosynthese, u.a. mit Gewährung von Förderbeiträgen; d) Koordination der Ausbildungen und Fortbildungen in Biosynthese auf nationaler und auf internationaler Ebene sowie Einhaltung der organisatorischen Strukturen; e) Unterstützung des Internationalen Instituts für Biosynthese IIBS in Zusammenarbeit mit David Boadella und Silvia Specht Boadella und ihren Nachfolgern sowie der Unterstützung der nationalen und regionalen Biosynthese-Institute u.a. über spezielle, vom Stiftungsrat vorzuschlagende Fach- und Beiräte; f) Beachtung und Vollzug der bestehenden Verträge des Internationalen Instituts für Biosynthese IIBS mit den affiliierten Vertragspartnern sowie den Copyright-Vereinbarungen des IIBS.
