Die Stiftung hat den folgenden Zweck: Sie unterstützt arme, hungernde, kriegsversehrte Kinder in Afrika. Die Unterstützung erfolgt durch die Gewährung von finanziellen Beiträgen an natürliche Personen und Institutionen, welche möglichst direkt, also vor Ort, den Destinatären Hilfe leisten und für die zweckgebundene Verwendung der Beiträge Gewähr bieten. Beiträge können auch ausgerichtet werden zur Errichtung von Kinderspitälern, Waisenhäusern und dergleichen in Afrika. In erster Linie sind konkrete Kinderhilfsprojekte in Afrika zu unterstützen, anstatt Organisationen, welche sich ganz allgemein armer Kinder annehmen. In untergeordneter Weise bezweckt die Stiftung auch die Unterstützung der Krebsforschung in der Schweiz. Die ausgerichteten Beiträge sollen ca. zu 70% armen Kindern in Afrika zukommen und ca. zu 30% der Krebsforschung in der Schweiz. Die Stiftung verfolgt keine kommerziellen Zwecke und erstrebt keinen Gewinn.
