La fondation s'adresse à tout bénéficiaire, sans distinction d'âge, moyens, culture ou ethnie. La Fondation peut à titre illustratif et non exhaustif: effectuer des études et recherches afin de mettre en évidence les besoins de formation des personnes de tout âge, sexe et appartenance culturelle; former, préparer et gérer un groupe d'experts dans le domaine de la formation; organiser et/ou soutenir des cours et séminaires de formation et auto-formations; préparer, publier et distribuer du matériel informatique dans le cadre éducatif, y compris en qualité d'éditeur; concevoir des nouveaux projets, soutenir ou développer des projets existants; développer toute autre activité ou initiative. Elle permettra notamment la réalisation au niveau international d'initiatives identifiées et/ou conçues par la Fondazione Verso, ayant son siège à Florence (Italie).
