La fondation a pour but d'offrir aux enfants et adolescents en difficulté qu'elle accueille, dans l'immeuble du Quart-Dessous 5 à Corgémont, une alternative de soutien et d'accompagnement en vue d'atteindre leur autonomie et leur insertion sociale. S'appuyant sur la composition multiethnique du groupe de pensionnaires, elle encourage l'ouverture d'esprit envers la lignée, le nom et l'image de chacun, de même qu'envers l'univers sensoriel, les objets, les idées et les croyances. Elle s'attelle à la restauration et au maintien des liens parents-enfants et encourage la continuité des relations avec les anciens pensionnaires après leur départ. Sa pédagogie, basée sur le quotidien de la vie communautaire, prétend à une éducation vivante, active et responsable. Elle attribue une place importante à la créativité. Le capital et le bénéfice de la fondation sont exclusivement affectés aux buts précités. La fondation a un caractère d'utilité publique et ne poursuit aucun but lucratif.
