Soutenir tout but de formation, culturel ou social, en privilégiant l'esprit d'ouverture et la tradition réformée de la fondatrice. Au moment de la création de la Fondation, elle reprend la gestion de l'école privée de langue française issue des négociations ayant abouti à la dissolution de l'ELPF fondée en 1836. Exploitation des bâtiments qui lui sont attribués en capital initial en les mettant principalement à disposition de structures de formation, notamment l'Ecole libre publique (école enfantine et primaires de langue allemande) et l'Ecole enfantine et primaire privée, toutes deux issues de la Fondatrice, par des contrats de bail. Elle aide la paroisse réformée de Fribourg à organiser l'enseignement confessionnel dans ses bâtiments. La fondation poursuit exclusivement des activités non lucratives d'utilité publique. En référance aux dispositions nouvelles du droit de la fondation, art. 86 lit. a CC, la fondatrice se réserve le droit dans la procédure prévue par le loi, de modifier le but original de la fondation.
