Die Stiftung bezweckt die Unterstützung der Arbeit auf dem Gebiet der sozialkritischen Psychoanalyse, des Psychodramas und der Ethnopsychoanalyse in Zentralamerika, der Karibik und im Netzwerk RED Sur-Sur sowie in anderen Regionen der Erde, die an den Folgen von Krieg und Armut leiden, namentlich im Nahen Osten. Die Stiftung setzt die Arbeit von Frau Doktor Ursula Hauser Grieco fort, die sie dank der Unterstützung von Institutionen, Universitäten, Nicht-Regierungsorganisationen (NGO) und ihr nahestehende Menschen in den Jahren 1980 bis 2012 initiiert und ausgeführt hat. Ziel der zu unterstützenden Tätigkeiten ist die psychologische Betreuung von Individuen und Gruppen in Bevölkerungen, die durch kriegerische oder soziale Gewalt traumatisiert wurden. Die Stiftung unterstützt ferner alle Bestrebungen zur Förderung der sozialen Gerechtigkeit und Gleichberechtigung von Jungendlichen, Frauen und ethnischen Minderheiten in den erwähnten Regionen. Die Stiftung ist parteipolitisch und religiös neutral. Die Stiftung hat ausschliesslich gemeinnützigen Charakter und verfolgt keinerlei Erwerbszweck.
