Er will zur Förderung der physikalischen und artverwandten Therapien beitragen und im Zusammenwirken mit anderen, der Volksgesundheit dienenden Organisationen für die Verbreitung und Vertiefung der wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse auf dem Gebiet der physikalischen Therapie und deren praktischer Anwendung durch die Mitglieder des Verbandes Sorge tragen. Der Verband ist politisch neutral, verfolgt keinen religiösen Zweck und übernimmt weder die Aufgaben eines geschäftlichen Unternehmens noch die eines Kartells. Er ist selbstlos tätig und verfolgt nicht in erster Linie eigenwirtschaftliche Zwecke. Er fördert die Aus- und Weiterbildung seiner Mitglieder und sichert im Rahmen seiner Möglichkeiten die fachliche Qualität derselben.
