Dies erfolgt durch die Veranstaltung und Unterstützung von Aufführungen der Werke der erwähnten Komponisten, die Produktion von Tonträgern, Drucklegung oder Digitalisierung von Notenmaterial usw. Das Lebenswerk von Urs Joseph Flury wird nach dessen Tod bezüglich Erhaltung, Bekanntmachung, Herausgabe und Verbreitung demjenigen von Richard Flury gleich gesetzt. Die Stiftung hat gemeinnützigen Charakter, wurde im Interesse der Allgemeinheit errichtet und verfolgt keinerlei kommerzielle Zwecke.
