Die Stiftung bezweckt den Erhalt und die Förderung des kulturellen Lebens in Graubünden, insbesondere im Bereich der Musik. Gleichzeitig soll ein Beitrag an den Erhalt der regionalen Baukultur geleistet werden, indem das Geburtshaus des Komponisten Tumasch Dolf erworben, für den bestimmungsgemässen Gebrauch erneuert und erhalten wird. Weiter kann die Stiftung die Durchführung kultureller Veranstaltungen im Bereich der Musik, der Literatur und verwandter Sparten, sowie den Erwerb, die Vermietung und den Verkauf von Immobilien im Rahmen der Zwecksetzung und zur wirtschaftlichen Sicherung der Stiftung tätigen.
