La fondation peut également, sur mandat, fonctionner comme agence nationale pour octroyer des contributions visant la réalisation et l'exécution des buts précités. Dans le cadre des buts fixés, la fondation ?uvre sur tout le territoire suisse et à l'étranger. Elle peut développer et diriger des projets d'envergure nationale et internationale.
