Die Stiftung unterstützt Angebote für bedürftige Patientinnen und Patienten., Die Stiftung bezweckt zudem die Förderung von Forschungsprojekten im Bereich der Symptomlinderung terminal kranker Menschen, insbesondere Krebs-, Herz- und Lungenkranker., Der Wirkungskreis der Stiftung erstreckt sich im Rahmen der Zwecksetzung auf die ganze Schweiz. Die Stiftung ist politisch und religiös unabhängig. Sie ist gemeinnützig und verfolgt keinen Erwerbszweck.
