Als nationale Vertretung des Institute of Internal Auditors (llA lnc.) sowie als Mitglied der European Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditing (ECllA) und der Union Francophone de l'Audit Interne (UFAI) unterhält der SVIR Kontakte zu Fachinstitutionen des In- und Auslands. Er kann weiteren nationalen und internationalen Berufsorganisationen beitreten.
